We first met Jenna in Body Bags, the start of the Body of Evidence series. After suffering a personal tragedy in the second book, Thief of Hearts, Jenna has decided to keep her job at the M.E.'s office. Though she can't bring back the dead, she can help speak for the victims by solving their murders and bringing the killers to justice. As always, Golden offers a story filled with intrigue. While Jenna studies the details of this particular series of murders, she and other characters thoughtfully consider and discuss different cultures and their views on life, death, and the afterlife.
