When I originally downloaded this article, I expected a few tips on how to help your baby make verbal connections (and it does). I was pleasantly surprised to find that it also explains some of the science behind what's happening in your baby's brain during different stages of one's neurological development.Well-written, well-structured, and a great value. Worth the time for anyone who spends time with infants and toddlers.

I loved reading about reading and talking to babies. It reinforced what I've done and thought for a long time. Most of us naturally talk and explain to our young children and this article backs up that activity with linguistic research. Fun article!
This is a well-done, highly informative article on not only why, but precisely how you should talk to your baby. It even includes a great month-by-month chart as to how best to communicate with your baby in order to encourage his/her speech development. A must read!
A quick read. Pretty commonsense really. But a good reminder of our ways to interact with our young ones.
I have read many books on child development & care however "Talk to your baby!" gets right to the point. Kathy Klopp Cohen clearly has done her research both in the library & with children, she gets straight to the heart of the topic without the need to drone on. I will be recommending this book to both my clients & friends.
This was a great article!!!! It was very easy to understand and greatly informative! I HIGHLY recommend it for ANY new parents!!! It is extremely important for children to learn to communicate clearly. I have noticed with the increasing availability of so much communication technology, our younger generations have become increasingly ignorant on exactly how to communicate clearly and effectively with other members of society. So, to start encouraging and educating that at such an early age is a fantastic idea!!!!
